For the UNESCO intangible cultural heritage covers all the practices, representations, expressions, knowledge and skills that communities recognize as part of their cultural heritage.
Intangible cultural heritage is often also referred to as living cultural heritage because people recognise it as such and keep it alive. Currently, 15 different traditions have been added to our national inventory.
